All applications submitted online are evaluated using an automated software. Qualified applicants who successfully pass this phase will be invited for an interview with the Foundation’s Selection Committee. University students who meet the financial, Arabic and academic requirements, will be invited to an interview with the Foundation’s Selection Committee. During the interview, the Selection Committee consisting of representatives from the public sector, academia, and the Foundation, examines the applicant’s proficiency in oral and written Arabic and asks pertinent questions to evaluate applicant interest and aptitude for a public sector career. Among students with similar financial backgrounds, academic performance and Arabic language skills, those deemed most likely to succeed in the public sector will be selected. The common trait among successful candidates is a combination of leadership, curiosity, knowledge of the community and the country in general, and in the chosen field of study in particular, and a demonstrable desire to help the community and the country.
Chosen candidates for the Jean Goguikian Scholarship are invited to apply to the recommended university and upon acceptance by the university, the applicant will have secured a Jean Goguikian Scholarship.
