On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, the Goguikian Family had its first annual camping trip at the YMCA camp in Ras El Matn.The camping trip was organized by the IMTI youth department of the YMCA. 10 students along with 2 staff members from the Goguikian Foundation as well as a representative from the YMCA gathered at IMTI and headed off to the camp site.

After discovering the breathtaking camp site, the students gathered for an interesting training session all about self-discovery. T he session included self-analysis about the type of personality the person had, about emotional intelligence and self esteem, and the seven types of multiple intelligence developed by Howard Gardner.

 

 

 

After lunch and an hour of relaxation under the beautiful green pine-trees, the students headed off to a nearby dispensary called the Women’s Association of Ras El Maten, where they met up with members of the association’s committee and were introduced to the various departments of the dispensary and the social and cultural activities of
