As Part of Goguikian Foundation Active Citizenship projects, the scholars of the Foundation wrote and executed a collection and awareness project in Bourj Hammoud related to waste management during October 2013 to September 2014.
As a result of this campaign, 2 tons of paper and carton, 1 ton of plastic, and 100 kg of aluminum cans were collected and 44 sessions of awareness to adults and 51 sessions of awareness to school children were offered.
484 Businesses, 7 schools, and 196 households, participated in this successful project.
