> Why I applied to the Jean Gouikian Scholaship and how has it helped
I applied to the Jean Goguikian Scholarship, because I realized that I am deeply interested in this specific domain, especially when it comes to pursuing a career in the public sector. Furthermore, I noticed that this program fits me since it will support me in every step of the way, until the day that I will eventually flourish.
>My academic and professional aspirations
Academically, I have always been interested in the field of Politics. Many consider it a gift; others consider it a waste of time. When it comes to me, I consider it a talent and an art that must be mastered so that it could be professionally practiced in the future. Consequently, my professional aspiration is to work in a field that is related to politics, for example, a Member of Parliament, minster, or adviser . . . Or in the field of international affairs; an ambassador. . .
>My hopes for the Lebanese Armenian community’s future
I see a bright future when it comes to my community. I see that they have become active in the Lebanese social and political life. But we must never be satisfied with what we have, instead we must always work for a better future, and that happens only through education.
>My inspirations
Michel Elefteriades has been my inspiration for a long time. I am well attracted to his diverse way of living and thinking.
To start with, he is a “multi-dimensional” person; a politician, musician, author, businessman…His aim has always been to achieve social justice in Lebanon. Furthermore, his revolutionary ideas lead to the creation of a resistance (M.U.R) which seems to me as a great achievement. For me, he is the most “different” person on Earth, and that is what I admire, Being Different.
